Vintage Navajo Sterling Silver Bracelet/ Signed JS James Shay Bear Claw Silver Cuff/ Turquoise Cluster Bracelet 61.7 Grams
This is a lovely handcrafted sterling silver bracelet by Navajo artist James Shay.
Signed JS, Sterling.
James Shay's pieces are featured in "Hallmarks of the Southwest" book, by Barton Wright. He is a Navajo artist with amazing skills.
This piece has 11 turquoise stones, in various sizes and a bear claw. We are not sure if the bear claw is genuine or faux.
The edges have a twisted wire rope and stamping. There are silver balls and curled silver coils as accents. At the sides there is simple linear stamping.
Size can be adjusted somewhat by a jeweler.
We have cleaned with a silver cloth very slightly. We did not want to remove the patina.
