Vintage Tan Tooled Leather Shoulder Handbag, Donkey Boy + Mayan Aztec Style Design, Puffy Leather Mexican Made Purse, Hipster Boho Bag
This is a great vintage tooled leather handbag which was made in Mexico.
On the front it depicts a young male riding a burro in a desert setting. Puffy raised leather design.
On the back is an image with "Mayan" style tooling and stamped images.
This bag was probably made for the tourist trade.
Mexican artisans have long been associated with lovely leather work.
This bag is a great example of that artisan leather work.
Rectangular shape, adjustable shoulder strap with snaps to secure it shorter.
Three compartments, the center one with a zipper.
On the inside there are two more zippered compartments, narrow; good for bills or credit cards.
One zipper is rough, we have applied "zipper ease" to all zippers. This one sticks.
Overall this is a gorgeous bag.
Perfect for your collection of vintage tooled leather bags or for your Mexican Hacienda style.
