Vintage Native American Silver Turquoise Navajo Silver Cuff Bracelet, 9 Turquoise Stones 169.9 Grams
This is a gorgeous vintage Native American "Ketoh" bow guard.
These pieces were originally made to protect the wrist of a hunter from the bowstring hitting & injuring the wrist.
These days the cuffs are worn for ceremonial purposes.
It is not only functional but beautiful.
This is a great piece for the gent or lady who wants to wear a lovely piece of Native American jewelry as a statement piece. Handmade, distinctive, beautiful.
This construction is a black leather cuff laced at the back with rawhide laces.
The silver piece is attached by metal hooks at back with rawhide lacing through.
The buttons are also attached by rawhide lacing at the back. All pieces are removable to replace leather band as needed.
There is also Velcro on the leather to secure the cuff.
The silver piece is a lovely hand crafted design with 9 turquoise stones set on center. Stones are also surrounded by silver balls.
On either side of the cuff are silver flat "buttons" laced through the back of the leather.
This is a very pretty piece with a lovely patina.
