Older vintage footwear may have brittle soles, stiff leather & other signs of aging. If you are concerned about the wear ability of your new purchase please take them to a cobbler for an assessment prior to wearing them. We inspect all footwear for flaws and weakness in soles and heels. If we find a problem we have the shoes restored or indicate the existing condition in our listing. These are not new shoes and may need a bit of special attention to keep them beautiful.
We are not responsible for damage that may arise from wearing vintage shoes. If the soles split due to age, replace them. If they need new shoe pads replace them. We really cannot control how a vintage shoe will wear. We can only state the present condition at the time of the sale.
We clean, polish and condition all footwear prior to shipping.
