Vintage Native American Navajo Silver 9 Turquoise Stones, Large Ketoh Cuff Bracelet 166.5 Grams
These "Ketoh" bow guards were originally made by Native Americans to protect the wrist of the hunter from the bowstring hitting and injuring the wrist.
These lovely wrist/bow guards are used today for ceremonial purposes.
It is not only beautiful but functional.
This piece is quite large and stunning.
The leather band is crafted in two pieces joined together. There are rawhide ties at the back to adjust the piece to your wrist.
The silver decorative piece is glued onto the leather and also secured by very small metal prongs on the backside.
The Silver piece is decorated with stamped feathers and stamped & rope details along the edge.
The 9 turquoise stones are large raging in size from 1/2" to 3/4" H each.
Perfect statement piece to wear with your Boho clothing. One of a kind statement piece.
