Vintage 50s wool plaid 49er jacket.
Notched collar. 
Bias fabric patch pockets. 
Mother of pearl buttons up the front & cuffs.
Loose fit, boxy cut.
Pleat at front shoulder, Yoke at back. Small gathers under the yoke on either side.
Sleeves are shorter, this is probably a Petite size. Smaller size. 
**This jacket has probably been washed, the wool is slightly felted. It's very pretty and soft but has probably shrunk. It would fit a smaller person (petite) with a small frame and shorter arms.

COLOR: Beautiful blue, grey, off white, green, yellow.
MATERIAL: Wool, MOP buttons. 
CONDITION: Very good.  Looks as if it had been previously washed, the wool is slightly felted, it has probably shrunk. We have steam cleaned it in the dryer with Dryel.
CARE: Dry clean.
